Chinese tech company Oppo has today (24 April) launched a new budget friendly smartphone Oppo A5 Pro in the Indian market. 


The phone was introduced to the global market and to India with some modifications. This phone features a 5800mAh battery and a primary camera with 50 MP. 

The smartphone has an IP69 rating to protect it from water and dust. This means that even if the phone gets wet in the rain, it won't be damaged. 

Pricing starts at Rs 17,999. The smartphone has been released by the company in two storage configurations: 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, respectively. 

It starts at Rs 17,999 in price. Mocha Brown and Feather Blue are the two color options available for the Oppo A5 Pro 5G smartphone on e-commerce websites, the Oppo e-store, and mainline retail locations. When you buy the phone, the company is giving you cashback of up to 1500 yen and free EMIs for up to six months on certain credit cards. In addition, a plan with no down payment is available.  Display:

 The Oppo A5 Pro 5G has a display that is 6.67 inches wide and refreshes at 120 Hz. It has a resolution of 1604 x 720 pixels and a peak brightness of 1000 nits. The display has a screen-to-body ratio of 92.2%.

 Camera: 

The smartphone's back panel features a dual camera setup with a flash light for photography. It includes a 50MP primary sensor with f/1.85 aperture and autofocus and a 2MP monochrome lens.  It also has an 8MP front camera for taking selfies and video calls. 

OS and processor:

 The smartphone's MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset supports Color OS 15, which is based on Android 15. Along with this, it has a 5700mm² vapor chamber and 6000mm² graphite cooling system for better thermal management.

 Battery: 

The Oppo A5 Pro comes with a 5800mAh battery for back-up power. It can be charged with a 45W SUPERVOOC charger.
